Based on a story in The Weekly World News, BAT BOY: THE MUSICAL is a musical comedy/horror show about a half boy/half bat creature who is discovered in a cave near Hope Falls, West Virginia. For lack of a better solution, the local sheriff brings Bat Boy to the home of the town veterinarian, Dr. Parker, where he is eventually accepted as a member of the family and taught to act like a “normal” boy by the veterinarian’s wife, Meredith, and teenage daughter, Shelley. Bat Boy is happy with his new life, but when he naively tries to fit in with the narrow-minded people of Hope Falls, they turn on him, prodded by the machinations of Dr. Parker, who secretly despises Bat Boy. Shelley and Bat Boy, who have fallen in love, run away together from the ignorant townfolk and have a blissful coupling in the woods, but their happiness is shattered when Meredith arrives and reveals a secret. Soon the entire town arrives and hears the shocking story of Bat Boy’s unholy origin.

Conviction is a resting place. Doubt is infinate. Set in a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, the principal, Sister Aloysius, begins to suspect the new progressive young parish priest, Father Flynn, of committing a terrible crime. She enlists the help of the young and idealistic Sister James in her pursuit of vindication. As Sister James wrestles with the moral dilemma before her, we are left to question the foundations of our own convictions. Winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for Best Play, TRMT is proud to bring John Patrick Shanley's masterpiece to Fort Wayne.

All ashore that’s going ashore! Put on those tap shoes and hop on board the S.S. American for this hilarious shipboard romp. It’s delightful, delicious, and de-lovely! Famed nightclub singer/evangelist Reno Sweeney discovers that her pal Billy Crocker has stowed away to be near his long lost love, Hope Harcourt. The problem is, Hope is engaged to the wealthy Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. With the help of some elaborate disguises, a gangster with a heart of gold, tap-dancing sailors, and good old-fashioned blackmail, they all join forces to help Billy in his quest to win Hope’s heart. The fabulous score by Indiana's own Cole Porter includes “De-Lovely,” “I Get A Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top,” and the show-stopping title number “Anything Goes.” TRMT is proud to bring ANYTHING GOES back to Fort Wayne in its 90th anniversary year!
