ANDY PLANCK

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR - Three Rivers Music Theatre

Andy Planck (He/Him) was raised in Fort Wayne, a proud graduate of Northrop High School, and he owes much of his successful career in the performing arts to his invaluable experiences growing up in this very special community. Andy received his degree from Ball State University’s nationally renowned Musical Theatre Program, and launched his professional career in New York City shortly after graduation. Andy was recently honored as Fort Wayne Magazine’s “Person of the Year 2022.” He was also the 2018 recipient of the “Emerging Leader” Arts United Award for his contribution to the Northeast Indiana Arts Community. Fort Wayne CW named him “Outstanding Educator” in 2018. He was also included in WhatzUp Magazine’s “Great 8 of 2018” eight most influential people in Fort Wayne in 2018. Andy was nominated for a second Arts United Award in 2022.

Andy has been teaching since 2006, and his students have been featured on Broadway, National Tours, and in regional productions all around the United States. Andy’s students have gained admission to top-tier universities such as Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Carnegie Mellon University, Pace University, Roosevelt University, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Elon University, Point Park University, Ball State University, University of the Arts, Western Michigan University, University of Utah, Long Island University, Montclair State University, Baldwin Wallace University, The Hartt School—University of Hartford, and more!
